Lemmon gets you to the Marshall Gulch Trailhead.

A short hike (1.2 miles) up along the stream and you will reach the saddle, where upon the trail descends into the Wilderness of Rocks.

For those of you who were wondering how we get large objects up to the second story with only two spiral staircases. We’ve almost finished converting the whole house to super efficient zone AC/heat. Ordinarily I don’t get realexcited about HVAC but when its July in Tucson and 106 your perspective changes.

Western Screech Owls have taken over the courtyard. We have one year round resident but he/she appears to have found a mate and now there are three offspring. Purple Martins are nesting in the big saguaro next to the driveway.
